Heat treatment

The heat-treatment process consists of heating the glass beyond its softening point (over 600°C) and then cooling it down, thus creating compression strength on the outer layers and tension in the inner layer. Glassense utilise 5 horizontal tempering furnaces, ensuring excellent surface properties with high tolerances.
