Glassense supplies façade glazing for Eastbrook Studios, London’s largest film and television campus
The UK’s film and television industry has experienced rapid growth in recent years. This growth has increased demand for new, purpose-built production facilities. Eastbrook Studios meets this demand and transforms a former industrial site in East London into London’s largest film and television campus. Spanning more than 52,000 m² and comprising 12 individual buildings, the development provides world-class production spaces, offices and supporting facilities for major international film and television projects.
Glassense contributed to this landmark development by supplying 3,800 m² of insulated glazing units across the campus façades. The sound stages feature limited glazing because of their specialised technical requirements. In contrast, the administration and support buildings rely on large glazed façades. These façades maximise natural daylight and create a contemporary architectural appearance. Our glazing solutions are present across all buildings within the development. This makes Glassense a contributor to one of the UK’s most significant studio developments.

The project placed high demands on quality, coordination and logistics. With multiple buildings under construction simultaneously, façade works had to be carefully planned to meet the overall construction schedule. Glassense supplied high-performance insulated glass units with Guardian SN75 HT solar control coating, delivering high daylight transmission while effectively controlling solar heat gain. These high-performance glazing solutions support the project’s energy efficiency ambitions and complement Eastbrook Studios’ BREEAM Excellent sustainability certification.
This project represents an important milestone for Glassense in the UK market. It demonstrates our ability to deliver reliable façade glazing solutions for large-scale developments where performance, quality and timely execution are equally critical.
